Dr Francis Malagelada Romans PhD

Founder and CEO

With over 18 years of experience in orthopaedics Francis has treated thousands of patients with bone, joint, ligament and tendon injuries, from elite athletes to weekend warriors. He has operated on some of these patients and engaged in research including basic science to understand musculoskeletal lesions better and develop new treatments. He is a huge proponent of non operative treatment for lesions and has avoided hundreds of surgeries with his evidence-based conservative treatments. He founded TenGen GB to serve as a fundamental part of patient’s treatment and for prevention of injuries in the active population, to fill an existent void in this field of nutraceutical supplements.

Dr George Bownes

Chief Medical Officer

As a Sport and Exercise Medicine Consultant, George has extensive Musculoskeletal Medicine experience having worked within a range of Military, NHS and Elite High Performance Sporting environments. He has been the Match day Doctor at Harlequins, a Tournament Physician at Wimbledon for The Championships, and worked with Team GB Winter & Summer Olympic Sports as well as Southampton & Chelsea FC. Outside of medicine George is a sports enthusiast. He has podiumed at numerous Ultras and completed multiple International Marathons, Multi Stage Races, Ironmans and Road Cycling events.

Vala Barzinji

Chief Pharmacist

Vala is a highly experienced clinical pharmacist with over 10 years of experience working in various healthcare settings, including NHS hospitals, global private healthcare, GP practices, and commissioning groups. She holds a Master’s degree in pharmacy from one of the top ranked universities in London and is qualified as an independent prescribing pharmacist specializing in renal medicine. With her extensive experience, qualifications and dedication to helping others, Vala provides high quality care, improves patient outcomes and makes a positive impact in the lives of those she serves.

Gloria Awuku

Partnerships Manager

Gloria is a recent graduate in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Ghana, with a passion for AI and machine learning. Gloria’s professional journey began at MinoHealth AI Labs, where she gained expertise in the implementation of AI solutions in healthcare. She also worked as a research assistant at the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research, where she contributed to drug discovery projects. Gloria is committed to environmental sustainability and climate change mitigation. She collaborated with Mckingtorch Africa to work on a project sponsored by the British Council dabbed “Plasticbrella” where she recycled plastic waste into footwear.
